Last week we hosted our second Macmillan coffee morning here at Parkhill. We had an amazing array of sweet and savoury things on offer for people to buy, including mini quiches, scotch eggs, carrot cake, coffee and walnut cake, white chocolate and cranberry cookies, flapjack, red velvet cakes and much much more. We certainly put a good spread on and it was well attended by most of our clients who enjoyed a cup of tea and coffee and a treat and donated to Macmillan. For those people that couldn’t attend we had an online collection too, and thanks to the amazing generosity of the Parkhill-ers, we raised a fabulous total of £233 .We hope you all enjoyed your sweet and savoury treats and enjoyed meeting your neighbours that you may not yet have met.
